Quick troubleshooting
A few of the most common hiccups and the fastest fixes:
My data isn't syncing between devices
- Confirm both devices are signed into the same iCloud account.
- Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings.
- Check you have a working internet connection — sync pauses offline and resumes automatically.
- Give it a minute: if a device has been offline, the first sync can take a moment.
A course isn't showing up
- Course discovery uses Apple Maps, so allow location access when searching nearby.
- If a course genuinely isn't listed, drop a pin to create a custom course at that spot.
I'm not seeing Strokes Gained
- Strokes Gained only comes from Full-mode rounds with shot-by-shot data. Record, Core and Basic rounds won't produce SG.
My handicap looks off
- The index uses the best 8 of your last 20 qualifying rounds, with caps and net double bogey adjustments — so a single round may move it less than you'd expect.
- Make sure the round's course rating and slope are correct, as the differential depends on them.
